About The Piece:

As a nation, we have watched for decades as countless souls have been unfaithfully taken in acts of pure violence that often leave our own youth feeling fearful or even worse, as the targets themselves.

Gun violence is very far from a foreign topic in our modern society. Unfortunately, America’s youth are subsequently placed in the crosshairs far too often. Stemming from Columbine to Uvalde, active shooter incidents on school grounds has remained an ever present threat to the safety and well-being of students of all age ranges.
