About The Piece:

Impetus means the force or energy with which a body moves. This then feeds into Issac Newton’s first law of motion, which states that an object in motion shall remain in motion (also known as the Law of Inertia). These concepts are woven throughout the piece to portray both the concept of momentum as it relates to music, and to life itself.
