About The Piece:

The word, Nexus, can be defined in many manners; a connection or series linking multiple things, a connected group or series, or the central or most important point or place. Furthermore, the overarching concept behind this piece is a sonic portrayal of the word, tying in aspects of music that harken back to support the formal definition but also stepping into facets of humanity.

As humans, we all appear to be so inherently different, but we are all linked together by innate and acquired life experiences that define our society. The various movements of the piece, Spark, Core, and Link, serve as key markers in how all of humanity is linked and how that level of unity can tool to make our society and world a stronger and better place.
